Terms of Service
Last updated: 11 June 2026
1. Service
nectr is a web service that fetches publicly accessible web pages and PDF documents and converts them to markdown format. The service is operated by Genc Kastrati, Chêne-Bougeries, Switzerland.
2. Acceptable use
You may use nectr only for lawful purposes. You agree not to use the service to fetch content you do not have the right to access, to circumvent access controls, to overload or abuse the service, or to violate any applicable law or third-party rights.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of nectr complies with the terms of service and robots exclusion rules of any third-party website you submit to the service.
3. Accounts
Registered accounts require a valid email address and a password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. We store only your email address and a hashed, salted version of your password — we cannot recover your password in plain text.
4. Subscriptions and billing
nectr offers a free plan and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis through our payment provider, Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record and handles payment processing and any applicable taxes.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access to paid features until then. Except where required by applicable law, payments are non-refundable, as described in our Refund Policy. We may change plan pricing or features with reasonable advance notice.
5. Converted content
Converted content is derived from publicly accessible third-party web pages and PDF documents. nectr does not claim ownership of this content. Copyright remains with the original publisher. Converted content is stored solely to provide the service and is never used to train machine learning models.
6. Service availability
nectris provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Swiss law, nectr is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data or business interruption.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chêne-Bougeries, Switzerland.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
